Obasanjo Aired Concerning Emir Sanusi Removal

I stopped attending Arabic school over fear of cane - Obasanjo

Our former president Olusegun Obasanjo has aired his view concerning the removal of emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II who was  dethrone yesterday after an executive meeting by the Kano state governor in collaboration with the state house of assembly.

In their view, the former emir was accused of insubordination to the Kano state government and the entire legislative arms of government whom he referred to as corrupt and non-performing.

In his reaction today’s the governor of Kano state doctor Abdullahi ganduje said the Emir did not show maturity in his reign as a Royal Highness of the great Kano kingdom thereby does not have the character to hold such esteemed position any longer.

We thought it wise to remove him so there can be some good morals for our upcoming generation which we believe that our new choice of Emir it’s the best that can carry all this peculiar parts.

About Obasanjo on his part did not agree with the governor rather he said Sanusi removal was good and also bad.

Good in the sense that he stood for the truth and openly ignored evil for the betterment of the Kano people and it’s also bad in the sense that your dreams to make the ancient Kano dynasty was cut short by men who do not believe in development and futuristic plan which was your point watchword.

You have paid the price of sincerity as a brother I want you to know that wherever you are, God will continue to show your legacy before everyone who cares to know.
