Odumeje in court over statement credited to him

Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, popularly known as Odumeje has been hauled to court by Awka people group in Anambra State over an announcement credited to him.

The disputable prophet was said to have offended the indigenes, calling them worshippers of monkey.

To this end, the most seasoned man of Awka town, Ozo Ibe Nwosu, and different caretakers of culture of the network have sued the prophet.

They said that the prophet in a remark that had circulated around the web in social and traditional media individually called them fools for having monkeys which couldn’t be moved by anybody.

They included that in the wake of thinking about the prophet’s remark, they found that there was no purpose behind the ridiculous assault by the prophet on them.

In an appeal composed by their attorney, Ebelechukwu Nsofo, to the State Commissioner of Police, CP John Abang, they approached the police to investigate the issue.

The appeal dated fourteenth May, 2020 was titled, “Danger to the life and lead liable to cause penetrate of harmony against Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, a.k.a Odumejeje”.

The request claimed that:

“The prophet took steps to tear our customers and their monkeys to pieces any day he gets them.

“The remark is fit for causing impossible extent of break of harmony if care isn’t taken by the important position.”

Solicitors incorporate Ozo Ibe Nwosu (the tallest man in Awka), Ichie Awka and Chief Priest of Imo Awka for themselves and indigenes of Awka.

While reminding the prophet that the Nigerian Constitution ensured opportunity of love and that no religion is more noteworthy than the other, they charged the police to swim into the issue by calling the prophet to arrange.
