Traders Thrown To Shock As Customs Storm Market To Market Seized Bags Of Rice Inside Trader’s Shop/Wearhouse

The Nigerian Customs has commenced operation moving from one market to another to intercept alleged imported rice from Traders shop in Abia State.

Traders from Cemetery Market Aba, were thrown into shock when men from the Nigerian Customs stormed the market and began moving from one shop to another particularly traders that sells rice, to seize ‘FOREIGN RICE’ in their shops.

It was reported that the Nigerian Custom Service have commenced operation moving from one market to another to intercept alleged imported (foreign rice) ban bags of rice inside trader’s shop as well as their warehouse, Abia State.

Eye witnesses who confirmed that the Customs officers were accompanied by heavy armed mobile police, army and navy. And they seized visually every foreign rice bag found inside the traders shop/warehouse.

Meanwhile Ekeoha Market also known as “Shopping Center,” also experienced the ugly incident by traders along roads from the Nigerian Customs.
