We don’t know the whereabouts of the Chinese Doctors – Health Minister

The minister of health, Dr Osagie Ehanire says he does not know the whereabouts of Chinese doctors who came to Nigeria over a month ago to help combat the spread of corona virus in the country.

Remember that a team of 15 Chinese medical practitioners arrived Nigeria via Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport on April 8th 2020 with medical equipments worth over $1.5 million in a bid to help combat the spread of corona virus pandemic in the country.

Dr Osagie speaking at the daily briefing of the presidential task force on COVID 19 on Thursday may 14th in Abuja asked the members of the public to stop seeking from their whereabouts from him.

He however said that the health ministry is not in charge of hosting the medical team hence, they cannot give details about thier whereabouts.

He furthermore stated that the presidential task force on COVID-19 have been able to learn certain things from the Chinese medical team that came visiting by interacting with them on ways to combat the spread of the virus.
